$I can hardly believe that it was a whole year ago that I signed on the dotted line to sell my business, Lolly & Boo, to its new owner. A lot of you won't know that before I ventured into the world of Squarespace and tech, I made lampshades! Hundreds and hundreds of beautiful lampshades over about six years. ⠀ 💡⠀ But last year I realised that I needed a change so I decided to hang up my rotary cutter for good. And I haven't looked back, I can honestly say. You never know how you're going to feel about a big decision until you've made it but when I walked into my empty workshop after the sale, I knew it was the right thing. ⠀ 💫⠀ Change is good! And a chance for me to build Every September, which I am loving and developing all of the time.⠀ 💛⠀ @lolly_and_boo is still going strong I'm pleased to say with its new owner, the lovely Joanna! Yeay to a normal Monday again! Has it been a productive one for you? I’ve really enjoyed just getting back to it after half term - it was a lovely week, don’t get me wrong, but I do love getting us all back into a routine. Call me dull but there’s a lot to be said for normality!!

So this week’s highlights include exams for my eldest 💪🏻 and my first coaching call on Thursday (I’m being coached; I’m not a coach!). I’m loving the prep for that call too - so enlightening when you start to look back in on your business properly 💡.⠀

And my obsession with wild garlic continues - we inadvertently managed to grow our own little crop in the garden this year although it’s not looking quite this pretty anymore. ⠀

How's your week been? I'm sat here with my second glass of Prosecco as I type, enjoying that "yeay, it's Friday evening!" feeling! 🥂

1. Launched my Dubsado setup package⠀

2. Realised how much I have to do before my Squarespace in a Day workshop next Friday (still one place left if you want to come and build a website in a day - details via my bio!). Preparations are well under way I hasten to add!⠀

3. Decided & signed on the dotted line to work with a business coach, which I'm very excited about⠀

Sometimes it's easy to think it's been just a normal week and then you look back, Prosecco in hand, and realised it's been pretty full of good things!⠀

I don't just love Squarespace. I'm a complete business tool and organisation geek and I absolutely love finding brilliant apps and software to make running my business easier. And it's not just about having a great website - there are lots of pieces of the puzzle which need to fit together to help your business run as seamlessly as it can. Many of my clients have asked for help setting up other parts of their business systems, whether that's email marketing software, project management software or, in this case a CRM (client relationship manager) such as Dubsado.
